Opus Leads runs a network of consumer sites for plug-in solar across the UK. Homeowners on those sites ask for a fitter, a socket, or a compliant kit. Register your firm and the areas you cover, and we pass those enquiries to you.
We won't give you enquiry volumes, conversion rates or a cost per lead. The product has only been legal for a few weeks, so nobody has real numbers yet. We'll share figures once we have them.
A plug-in device is sold as something you fit yourself, and mostly it is. Three parts of the rules still need an electrician.
An outdoor plug and socket needs an IP55 rating or better on the socket. That is a fitting job on most properties.
Where connection needs the circuit's overcurrent protection device replaced, the specification says only a qualified electrician may do it.
Users are told to get a qualified electrician to inspect any socket whose condition or suitability they are unsure about.
Fire risk in older housing came up again and again in the consultation responses. Those homeowners are the most likely to want a trade opinion before they buy.

We don't buy them in. We run the guides people find when they search whether plug-in solar is allowed, and we give them straight answers.
The network is twenty three separate sites: national guides on the law, the limits, the prices and the kit, and regional guides built on each area's own network operator and planning rules. Each one is written and sourced properly, so they rank in search.
Our guides also say no when the answer is no. A homeowner whose balcony is timber isn't covered by the permitted development right, and we tell them that instead of selling them a panel. The enquiries that reach you are the ones that can go ahead.
